A poem: Calendars and Webs
Day by day
Thought by thought
My window appears pictureless
I sit and wait for you all day
I think of you while the sun moves west
My love grows stronger
And I can’t keep myself occupied
Your warmth is in me always
Between us lies the thick warm air
The air of love as I feel myself falling
Deeper into you
Never have I felt this, so real
I want to be with you always
How could I imagine how it all could begin
A simple hello in that sunny hall
A smile for a familiar face
Someone I knew, but never knew…
Oh, but love works in a strange tangle of webs
I love that spider who spun us together.
